- I am tring to get information on Joseph Roland Kibbe he would be around 78 years old now. He was in the Army and stationed in Honolulu around 1950 sometime. He married Theresa Cambra and had 1 daughter. Joe was born in New Jersy and was fostered by a MacDonald family. Lost contact around 1957 last seen in Vacavill California. - I recently aquired a diary/memoir written by my great-great grandfather, Alonzo Kibbe. He was born in 1844 in New York state, but traveled with his family via the St. Lawrence Seaway to Milwaukee. He lists his parent as Mr. and Mrs. P.C. Kibbe, and names his father's sister as Clarissa. He enlisted in the 12th Wisconsin Battery in 1862. I am looking for any information

- I have two lines. One is Mary Kibbe (d. 1840) who married Jacob Ward, Rev. War patriot. The second Kibbe line is my mystery line! I have an Alpheus Wright (b. 1795 VT) who married Chloe Kibby (bc 1798 VT or NY). They suddenly show up in Cayuga Co, NY in 1850, then move to Michigan about 1860 where both died before 1880.

- I have a framed embroidery that has written on the back, "Made by Marion Stampbell Kibbe in the 1920s." I've had it for a few years -- I think I purchased it on eBay -- anyway, I only now looked up the name online. - In your listing of the ancestors of Mary Partridge you show her as born 1615 and her father as John Partridge who married in 1620 which doesn't sound right. I had her father as Ralph Partridge born 1579 but I really don't have a good source for this. Any ideas?

- I am interested in two Kibby or Kebby persons. Edward Kibby who married Mary Partridge and came to New England (1600's) is sometimes listed as being the brother to Henry Kebby. Henry Kebby is the father of Susannah Kebby who married David Sellick and then they all seemed to have moved to New England. I have a copy of a Will of John Kebby (London, England, Vintner) who mentions Henry Kebby as his brother and Susannah Sellick as his niece. John Kebby also mentions being born in Broomfield, Somerset. Thus I assume Henry was born there too. I would like to know if Henry and Edward are related. (One assumes this to be the case.) And then how? Brothers or cousins? Then I would also like to know more about the family of Mary Partridge - more to the point is she related to Sir Miles Partridge? If anyone has any clues, I am interested to hear about anything that might guide me in the right direction. Thanks.

- I've been poking around the Internet researching the names signed on a beautiful quilt I bought twenty years ago in Vermont. It's a so-called friendship quilt with about 45 signatures and the words 'Randolph, Vermont'. This type of quilt would have been given as a marriage gift or for a special event such as the birth of a child. One of the names signed on the quilt is Emily Kibbe. Others are: Netty Eastman, Kitty Eastman, Laura Hanks, Laura & Abigail Paine, Abbie Dodge, Margaret and Allbert (spelled as such) Smith, Abbie & Marion Dodge, S.J. Smith. Does anyone recognize these names? My guess is that quilt was made around 1830 or so. Thanks, Marie

- I have an ancector by the name of James M. Kibbee that lived in the Brookyn and Grinnell Iowa area. He was born in 1850 and I beleive in Delaware county of Iowa. - I am trying to locate Wayne Kibbe, who I served with in the 661st Air Force Band, Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio. Last contact in 1961. Wayne was my best man for my wedding in Ames, Iowa, June 10, 1961. He was from Williamsport, PA. Wayne was a pianist and French horn player. - I am a ggg granddaughter of Converse Alphonse Kibby (Kibbe) and Diane Cecelia Adalaide Booth. I have three pictures that my great-grandmother (apparently) wrote on to identify. One was Converse. Another was Diane. The third one appears to read, "Mammie Ethel Kibby." My great grandmothers name was Ethel Ellen (Cremeen) Dykes, daughter of John Cremeen and Viola Armenta Kibby (Kibbe). - Hello, I am looking for OSCAR ALONZO KIBBE. He lived in Thibodeaux,LaFourche Parish, Louisiana in the late 1850s. He was a Lt. in the First La. Infantry during the Civil War and he died in a hospital in Chatanooga in 1862. I am interested in him because he was a member of the class of 1861 at The University of Mississippi. - I am looking for a connection tothis person. His wife was Amenda Morrison Kibbe. Thier son was David Kibbe married to Ellen Slater Kibbe. Thier children were Francis Marion Kibbe (my grandfather, Arthur, Delores and Vera Kibbe. All from and around Warren County, PA. Arthur lived in New York for a while. Francis married Mary Corliss Kibbe and lived in Tionesta, PA until he died. We suspect that Marion Avelos Kibbe's father may have been a Clark Kibby who is listed in the 1850 Census of Warren County, Brokenstraw Township, PA. We seem to be a lost tribe! - I'm looking for information on Louis L. Kibbe known as L.L. Kibbe. He was a vetran of the Civil War and served in the Kentucky Calvary in Company F Unit 10. He retired to St. Cloud, Florida and died in 1932 at the age of 92. He is buried at the Mt. Peace Cemetery in St. Cloud. L.L. contributed information on my gg-grandfather's death certificate in Florida. We also have a picture of him in Florida. I'm just trying to figure out who he was.

- The original Last Will and Testament of Dorothy Lord, signed February 8, 1669, was on deposit in the Connecticut archives, the last I knew in about 1983. They were kind enough to make a photocopy for me from the original -- but now we have improved technology such as digital cameras. Is there anyone of our family in the Hartford, Connecticut area who would want to (or be willing to) go to the archives and get some digital pictures of the Will including some nice clear close-ups of the wax seal which contains within it the impression of the LORD family heraldic ring, to share with all of us? [Lord, Mrs. Dorothy, page 142. Signed February 8, 1669. Inventory taken May 12, 1675. Exhibited in court May 14, 1676.] I know these dates don't agree with the dates on the IGI or AF, but I'm looking directly at at a photocopy of the original document and the Ingersoll grandchildren are specifically mentioned in the will. FYI - Dorothy Bird {Lord}married to Dr. Thomas Lord. Their 8th child, Dorothy Lord married John Ingersoll. John Ingersoll and Dorothy Lord {Ingersoll}'s second child Dorothy Ingersoll married Jacob Phelps. Jacob Phelps and Dorothy Ingersoll {Phelps}'s second and third daughters, Dorothy Phelps and Hannah Phelps, married Edward Kibbe and John Kibbe respectively. Thanks.

- I am trying to get some verification as to the demise of my great-grandmother's half brother, LEVI N. KIBBE. He was born in May of 1881 in/outside Princeton, Franklin County, Kansas, from his father's second marriage. Dad was William Egbert Kibbe. Mom was Anna Marie Davis. After dad died in 1921, there was a probate dispute, and Levi left the area in about 1927/28. An elderly cousin told me they had been told that he boarded a train and that the train derailed on a tressel in 1928 "somewhere out west" and was killed. I only found 2 train derailments which even came close to matching this story, (one in Texas and one in California) and according to the RR reports, no one was killed. Any help would be appreciated. Carrie Kibbe married Wiliam Proctor July 1, 1899. He was a blacksmith and brasssmith for Coe Brassworks in Torrington. 2nd marriage-Carrie to Harry Prentice, Putnam Ct. Harry owned and Ice Company. Carrie had an "adopted daughter, Myra Helen. may have been her natural daughter but hidden for a few years or another Kibbe family child. Reported adopted in 1908 from Torrington, CT area. - Am seeking parentage of Ira Kibbe who m. ca. 1853 Catherine E. Rockwell (1835-1896), d/o Horrace Rockwell and Hannah Chase), had daughter Olive b. 16 Sep 1854 in Crawford Co., PA. Ira dropped out of sight; Catherine (Rockwell) Kibbe m2. 10 Feb 1857 (in PA?) to James Henry Tennant and raised a family in WI. Her daughter Olive took on the Tennant surname. Statements made in one of Olive Kibbe/Tennant's marriage licenses provide the name of her father (Olive m. 3 times, had 8 children). I am happy share my information.

- I am looking for information on Mary Kibbe born about 1760. She is of Somers, Tolland, Connecticut. Her husband was Jacob Ward born 11 Jan 1756 in Somers, Tolland, Connecticut. They were married in 1781 in Somers, Connecticut.

- James Kibby b. abt 1834 d. ? married Elizabeth ? bef. 1860. Children: Scott b. 1860, Mary b. 1864, Palmer b. 1866, Emma b. 1869, Edward E. b. 1873, Thomas b. 1875, Charles b. 1878 and my g grandmother Hattie b. 1880. This information found in 1880 Livingston Cty, IL Census. Does this James match up with anyone elses research? Am at a loss, cannot find his parents anywhere. Any help is greatly appreciated.

- Hello all, I have been able to reasearch as far back as Mahlon A. Kibbe (1873-1936). His wife was Effie Slater (1877-1973). They had at least one son, George L. Kibbe sr (1907-1964). He was married to Fannie Long Kibbe (1904-1974). I am trying to go further back with this branch. If anyone can help, that would be wonderful. Thanks much all.

- I have Rhoda KIBBE 1770 - 1831, m Job PRINCE. Rhoda was born in Somers, CT, spent most of her married life in White Creek, NY. Her first child was born about 1793. - Looking for information on Myra Helen Kibbe Proctor, born 12-1-1899 0r 1900, Somers, Tolland, Rockville areas of CT. Daughter of Carrie Kibbe. Carrie married William Harold Proctor July 1, 1899, Hartfor, CT. Carrie had seven siblings, Merrick, alvi n, William Edward, Herbert, Norris Jr. Ida and Ada. Carrie was the last of eight children born to Norris and Clarrisa. Norris(born 1838) was the son of Alvin Kibbe born in Somers, CT in 1800. Alvin had nine children, Julianne, Lucius Alvin, William, No rris (born 1838)Noah, Sarah, george, Rose, Naomi and Caroline. We are looking for info on Carrie Kibbe Proctor's child Myra Helen. She was in an orphanage in Toriington, CT. and removed by Carrie Kibbe and William Proctor at age 8. We are looking for th e birth record of Myra Helen Kibbe Proctor. Any help is appreciataed. - I recently discovered an Abigail Kibbe in my ancestors. She was my gggg grandmother, born about 1751 and dies in 1844. She was married to Timothy Baker. They most likely have a New England states birthplace. Does anyone have any information or can a nyone point me in the right direction. I have nothing more about her as of yet. Thanks.
